Abstract
Character education that is part of an educational institution can be viewed as moral education. For this reason, the application of character in schools requires programs or activities that facilitate the cultivation of values, good character, Noble habits, and especially religious values to learners.
The purpose of this study was: to determine the application of school religious culture to the emotional intelligence of students. This study is a field research (field research) with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources used are primary data and secondary data. And methods of data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as in data analysis using descriptive analysis.
From the results of the study it can be seen that there are three (3) results of student religious culture to the emotional intelligence of students, namely (1) the application of school religious culture to the emotional intelligence of students, (2) indicators of the success of school religious culture in improving students ' Spiritual Intelligence, (3) supporting factors role of school religious culture. The conclusion of this study is a good spiritual intelligence in learners will be embedded and reflected in the Islamic character, have the awareness to do good, have empathy, sympathy, and concern for the surrounding environment.
